"E lucevan le stelle" wine bar-bistrot and La Locanda di San Francesco are situated in the same building that faces Piazza San Francesco. Walk through the two magnificent doors onto the large terrace and enjoy the Tuscan light from early morning or admire the unforgettable sunsets over the Val D'Orcia.  Most of the wines on offer in the elegant wine bar are from Tuscany's best estates and they are complemented by a well-curated selection of Italian and French wines. They are available by the glass or bottle.  To accompany your wine for an aperitif, light lunch or dinner, the wine bar offers local products and typical Tuscan dishes.

“E lucevan le stelle” is open every day in Summer and on weekends in Winter.

Wine Bistrot

A couple of lounge corners, a long brass countertop and a few tables: "E lucevan le stelle" is an intimate space with an international feel where everyone can find their own dimension. The terrace overlooking Piazza San Francesco is the ideal place for a leisurely lunch under the Tuscan sun or a relaxing aperitif with the long sunsets over the Val d’Orcia as a backdrop.
